About

Mike Kurras

I am a Broadcast Engineer

Every day I strive to apply my knowledge in Television Production, Computer Programming, and Network Engineering to implement innovative solutions for broadcast facilities.

My first introduction to broadcasting was streaming high school sports while still a student as part of NFHS Network's school broadcast program - I never looked back. Over the past decade I have taken every oppurtunity that I can to learn about broadcast technology and television production systems. Recognizing the shift towards IP-centric production facilities, I recently obtained my Arista ACE:L1 certification. I am looking forward to working with SMPTE ST 2110 and continuing to deepen my knowledge in both Broadcast Engineering and Network Engineering.
